Brian needs to let his beard grow again.

The man grows a handsome, full, manly beard and he looks beautiful with it.

These days it will be charmingly gray and perhaps white.

Someone tell his wife to stop buying razors and allow the man his beard.

No need for a petition. All of the surviving Beach Boys - Brian, Mike, Al, Bruce, and David are going to grow beards for the reunion concert/album/tour - 50 Big Ones.

AGREED. I think it would suit him well, at this age.

This time I'm in complete agreement. As a beardie I'm all in favour.

There are important reasons why we should ALL grow beards.

1) Electric razors add to global warming.

2) Beard hair is probably an important store of CO2, which is released into the atmosphere every time a beard is shaved or trimmed.

3) Old fashioned shaving brushes used real badger hair -  badgers are now a protected species.

4) Think of all the plastics that go into razors, and the chemicals that go into shaving foams, aftershave etc.  They could be being used to produce CDs.

5) The England cricket team might survive a night sober if there was no aftershave to drink.

I am in complete agreement; but as I have previously mentioned elsewhere, bring back the bath robe!! That was awesome.

He had a well trimmed beard at one point several years ago after getting into shaape.  Looked quite suave.  That would suit him now.  Now joking.   Beards hide the double chin and turkey neck on a lot of older guys.  Put a little just for men light brown on that thing and take off 15 years!

As of 2000, the bathrobe made an appearance.

The size of Brian's head and forehead makes me wonder how he ever pulled off the Beatle hair cut without looking foolish.

He has his hair like it was in 1964 or whenever these days.

I wonder how jealous Mike is that he lost his hair in his 20s and Brian still has all of his in his 60s?  ;D

I do believe it's proof that Melinda isn't what some crack her up to be - what controlling manipulative force on our Brian would let a photo like that be taken? :-D

Rolling Stone. Annie Lebovitz took it. I can't remember the source, but Brian remarked once that he liked when Annie shoots him "because she's got a nice ass." I think this was 70s BW.

Actually, I think it may have been one of Vanity Fair's music issues. Annie Leibowitz pretty much works for them exclusively these days. I recall an astonishing picture of John Lee Hooker.

Don't even think of trying that one again.

I have heard all that stuff and it is just another way for the goverment to control us. They should just leave us the hell alone. The USA and other free nations which are said to be damaging the enviornment are the cleanest places on earth.

I'll tell you what the biggest environmental problem is that I've observed : littering !!!

I would like to walk through the woodlands here without coming across two abandoned fishing boats, two jetskis, a smaller boat, tons of bags full of old clothes, children's toys, etc., that ruin the natural beauty and pose unnecessary dangers for the animals that live there (I come across lots of dumped wood with large nails still sticking right up - dangerous for animals walking and any kids running through without mind to watch their feet) and so on.

The police don't do anything about it and they don't care. Some kids illegally started digging up the land here to make trails for their dirtbikes. In the process they cut down probably about twenty full grown adult trees with their wreckage. One of them must've worked for a landscaping place because they snuck a tractor back there sometimes. I called the police, they didn't care. Now half of the woods right by my house are ruining, lots of ugly trails and jumps carved into the land. They terrorize the animals with the excessively loud bikes and quads. I've been walking through the woods at times watching deer roam and as soon as they hear the distant roar of those stupid kids they run for safety. It breaks my heart. I also run. I dive into the trees to avoid them, lest I decide to cast a spell of destruction on them for their ignorance.

I cannot forget to mention the idiotic teens who party in the woods and leave old furniture, piles of beer cans, broken beer bottle glass threatening the feet of everyone around, and selfmade bongs.

I walked through there with some friends two weeks ago. They chucked their cigarettes on the ground and an empty pack of gum. When I made sure they knew their way back, I stayed back to show my disapproval of their behavior. Walking back from the woods one man short can be a weird experience when you realize that it means the one man preferred his own company over yours. Ouch. Hope they learned their lesson or else I'll feed them to the bear.

Yeah, because public education, police and fire departments, highways/roads and other public works projects, healthcare, labor laws, etc. are all bad! ;)
