I drove 80 miles to see them in S Cali in the early 90s but on the train a few months later at another location. Take the 3-4 years of July 4th shows in the early 80s alone with up to half a million people a time.
Don't get me wrong. I am not knocking them but I am reminded of the oil crises in the late 70s. A columnist in my town said the highest gas users were football games and the lowest motor sports...by fan attendance alone. Title: Re: Mike Love Energy Czar!
