She reminded me of a fusion between the Ting Tings and Fine Frenzy but I mainly went to the show to support Keaton Simons. He reminds me of Ben Harper but some say A LOT of John Mayer. oh well. I became a fan of his after Pandora recommended him when I listed Ben Harper. Keaton's still on tour so check his myspace out to see if he'll play near you. He's great with fans so have a chat with him after his set.

They were doing lo-fi (Smiley Smile/Wild Honey), dream pop (Cool Cool Water, Feel Flows), shoegaze (All I Wanna Do), new wave (Love You), and twee pop(Friends-the album and the song, At My Window) long before those styles became genres of their own...not that they invented any of them, just saying the BBs were a bit ahead of their time. Keaton just added a few more dates to his tour a few in the South and New England area and lastly one show in CA. I don't remember what the exact dates are so check his myspace.com/keatonsimons. Plus his music is being used in the tv show Crash's promo (on Starz channel).
