Title: Fats Domino's influence on Brian ? Post by: Rocker on July 09, 2009, 10:49:02 AM Not too long ago there was talk about the Beach Boys' version of "Blueberry hill". This brought me to the question if Brian ever mentioned any Fats-influence on his productions or songwriting. Brian's horn-sounds sometimes remind me of Fats'. Anyone got any ideas?

Brian doesn't hit the keys as hard. Yeah, kinda true. But it might come from the Rock'n'Roll-style and maybe not directly from Fats. Anyway "Soul searchin" has Fats Domino written all over it.
