It's an official biography written around 1977-1978. I was surprised with the SMiLE content so i've scanned the relevent pages & uploaded it as a pdf file.

It's light weight in some respects, but some things are pretty on the spot. It's a very nice book picture wise as well.

This must've been the time when The Beach Boys looked their downright worst as a group.
