I have a missing 17 year old....going on 3 weeks. Lovely child. My youngest. Stubborn and simply gone. Just finished high school. She left for a while, came back, graduated and left within a week..again. Sad, but, not unlike others such as Steve M. who have experienced a wrenching loss, sometimes our online contacts and virtual friends are close as actual family or friends..... Found myself sitting here alone and started up the computer......... I hope she is just craving adventure but I sure wish she would just let me know... It is hard to share but sometimes it has to come out. It colors every day in its own way. Sometimes I'm ok but there are times when it eclipses everything else.

Flew out, got her released, did some sight seeing and lost her again when I (foolishly?) took her back to the gathering to retrieve her belongings. Going home tomorrow without her.

Oddly enough, some rainbow gathering people I left her picture with, put it on the web on youtube, asking her or anyone seeing her to encourage her to call home. Thats as much help and support as I have recieved from anyone. I certainly came away from that experience with a much more favorable opinion of the Rainbow people. I'm doing ok. I'm worried that my wife isn't.
