Hi all!!!

I was asked by Denni to start a new thread and explain to all of you why she had to stop posting for now. She obviously loves her family very much and does not want to hurt them by having someone identify her. Her mom was upset about her doing the research on here, and so, she choses not to post here for awhile.

Please, everyone, respect her wishes.

She's upset that no one here believes her, which in "our" case is very understandable. Apparently, her father's family has never been told about her biological father being Dennis and they don't want the family to find out that dad is not. Did that make sense? Anyway, her mother was upset about her talking about Dennis being her father on the board and doesn't want it getting back to her husband's family. Denni doesn't want to upset the apple cart at home. You can't blame her.

I've always found that it's best to trust someone until they give you reason not to. That's how I'm handling this. Unfortunately, I trusted Bluebird from BW.com enough to lend her $1K last November and she still owes me $700 and it's been 6 months!!!!! I don't like to sound corny people, but do unto others......What if the situation were reversed and Dennis was YOUR dad??? Put yourself in her shoes. If you don't believe her, what have you lost? A few minutes of reading some posts here?           

She's had alot to digest in a short amount of time and some posters can be cruel and very skeptical, but let's give her the benefit of the doubt and give her some space.
What can it hurt?

My observation was that the vast majority of us here DID believe Denni, and that we treated her very well.  Even those who were skeptical were at least willing to be open-minded.

I hope she comes to realize that, and that she will feel welcome to participate here again.

She was not banned as she technically has not broken any board rules. We (mods) decided it best to just remove the temptation from the forum and keep it from getting any more intense. The thread could very well have gone far worse if we left it open longer.

And I think this is a good reason as well....

I am against this normally but in this case it was probably a good idea in any case.

I tend to think more and more that it all was genuine. It was a long series of posts, and there was not the slightest attempt by anyone to make it known that we were fooled (the goal of any prank, of course).

I think in due time she'll be back. Cheers again to DonnaK for being the intermediate.

I agre on her possible authenticity. Posters like AGD who have archival knowledge were believing her, so I tended to also. Poor lady. What a whammy she must have got here. Her curiosity may bring her back, albeit briefly.

yes Denni, BB followers are quite a lively bunch who tend to get a little rowdy from time to time, and the cattle prod has to be used, but all in all it's all good!

That's batshit crazy territory.

It must have been hard for her to lose her adopted father, especially since he had been so healthy, riding his Harley near Fresno. Oh, wait, that was her alter-ego, Denni. I know it's a dead horse, but I wasn't too up on the story, and reading old threads is hilarious. A bunch of fake trolls (one person) attacking each other and posting news about their fake lives.

Bluebird hung around at a lot of BW's UK shows in the early noughties… daft thing is I cannot recall whether it was the PS tour, the BWPS tour or one of the others.

John-she was definitely present at the PS shows although by the BWPS shows, I think, she'd 'ruffled a few feathers'!

I tended to be sat next to or opposite her at the Bloo meals and on first impression, seemed to be well connected, if not a bit loopy. By the second impression, all I could think of was Kathy Bates in Misery.

Funnily enough, she played everyone what she said was Dennis singing Surf's Up live. OK, it certainly didn't sound like Brian or Carl but she swore blind that it was a tape Dennis had given her so I double checked with someone on here who should know (!!) and he confirmed it would have been Robert Lamm from the 75 Beachago Tour. Unfortunately, I never had the chance to ask her as she very quickly lost any credit she had and did a Lucan.

Looking back, I still bump into a few people who I see at BW shows and are the most geniune, friendly guys to hang out with. Others, who seem to have dropped off the BW map, were quite the opposite

Bluebird - Pat Panuska - was and is a liar, a fantasist and most of all a con-artist. She still owes a friend of mine some $700 from over a decade ago. A "close & personal friend" of Brian & Melinda, as she claimed ? Not even close: I checked with someone who is, and has been for many, many years, and the language they used I couldn't repeat here.  ;D

Somebody was giving her backstage passes, at least at one point. So, they caused her yo have some sway over gullible people, because she apparently got some other fans backstage access, as well, which she used as a lure in her con game.

When does AGD's tell all book come out..... ;D

Did she meet Macca in London, 2004 ? Yes, she did: he was in the audience for the 4th show. Lot of people met him that evening, for maybe 15 seconds before the gig. Did she say anything like she claims ? No: I was within earshot - nothing like. Just a general hello, great to see you.

I must say, so many things have changed, on many levels, since I first posted on this subject back in '09. Because of the many lies that "Denni" told me back then, and my gut feeling, I stopped buying into her story not long after......Unfortunately, a couple of my virtual friends  ended their friendships with me due to that disbelief.....one just recently...Funky Pretty....but that has been their choice to believe in the falsehood known as Denni Leann, et al. I trust someone completely until they give me reason not to..I have always been that way and always will. The golden rule I live by. I do not regret giving someone the benefit of the doubt, as in this case, but I, for one, am completely thrilled that this saga is over!

The thing pretty much blew up back in 2011 among most people, from what I could ascertain from the old threads. I suppose a few people may have still believed, but with AGD's post in the Sandbox some weeks ago, surely no one can believe it anymore. If they do, maybe they are her. She was the Lon Chaney of the board.

Oh my God. Didn't she also con someone into marrying her and then steal his money? I guess people like Pat and Sherri (sociopaths?) have always existed, and the Internet is the perfect platform for them.
