I totally agree. They should start putting out depressing songs in the winter and happy songs in the summer. Every year. With one or two stereo mixes to keep people buying. And each one should be louder than the last. aNd there should be club mix mixes. Too.

Love the idea, and how timely too -  after all, in 24 days time the nights start getting longer!

That is depressing.  I hadn't thought of it that way.   Just when I was adjusting to the days getting longer.

And not only is the day going to be shorter, it will get hotter and hotter and hotter for another 4 months.

Yeah, probably.

I was just looking for "wind" songs to go along with "let the wind blow", "feel the wind blow through my limbs", and "I'm a leaf on a windy day". And "Winds Of Change" wasn't "windy" enough.... :police:

As far as I know, this can't be done for a couple of reasons. Firstly, I believe it was recorded in mono (vocal track dubbed over another, rather than across two tracks of a 3-track tape); and, more to the point, only the mono mix exists now. So short of slathering it in delay and reverb to create an awful pseudo-stereo, not much could be done.

Again, I believe the above to be true, but am happy to be corrected if anybody knows better.

Not a bad compilation. I'd leave "Tears In The Morning" off, though - it's never struck me as being 'moody' as much as 'emetic.'
