Title: The Trader and/or Traitor (on mini-LP replica of Holland) Post by: rasmus skotte on April 23, 2009, 06:21:27 AM The day after Earth Day i listened to Trader which from the lyrics could have been called The traitor as well(?) Was that a deliberate pun or wordplay from Carl and Rieley?
And how about those Japanese digi-packed mini-albums! Sunflower with its gatefold cover in miniature... NICE. Surf's Up, So Tough AND Holland. But if you're gonna be totally purist about it like the Japanese - they commit a minor treason with Holland, which after all was a 1½ album. The mt. Vernon & Fairway sleeve is perfectly reproduced (in the right ratio I'm sure) but is empty, so the fairytale is just added on the CD as usual. More correctily would have been two even sized album covers each with their own cd. But Earth Day... remenber? Well I know. And the original extra 'production log' booklet is also missing. But other than that. Great and expensive stuff. |
