Many people in their heyday really believed they had a secret pact with the Devil. Tell me... did you use, em, electronic help? However, it's a nice thing that the right reply came in so quick. And yes. They outclassed Clapton by far... Title: Re: The Don's Nano-Quiz For Tuesday Post by: Jason on April 21, 2009, 10:14:28 PM I'm surprised no-one ever thought Yngwie Malmsteen had a pact with Old Scratch back in the 1980s. Yngwie's main influence was Paganini himself.

Yngwie's main influence was Paganini himself. I did not know that. Although I can't stand Malmsteen's efforts myself, I can see why you wrote this. By the way, I helped a friend translate 'Classical Music For Dummies'. I recall the stories about Paganini in concert... candles blew out mysteriously, and young ladies fainted or/and experienced spontaneous orgasms. These myths no doubt contributed to that belief in Satan being involved. Title: Re: The Don's Nano-Quiz For Tuesday Post by: donald on May 20, 2009, 02:19:06 PM Celine Dion is the devil. am I off topic here or just out on a tangent? Title: Re: The Don's Nano-Quiz For Tuesday Post by: Lady on May 20, 2009, 03:40:52 PM :)
