Never mind, it's pretty cool apart from that and of course Friends being included in the prelude is quite a nice surprise. Yeah, the "Friends" part used in the prelude is the upward chromatic progession heard between verses..."dah-dah-dah....dah-dah-dah...dah-dah-dah...DAH-DAH-DAH-DAH". With the treatment given to it by the band it's a real treat! Much better than you'd imagine (for those of you who haven't seen the band in the past few years).
Yeah, Frankie Lyman & the Teenagers had the hit in 1956 so it's a cover. The cover version from 1964 is so-so in my opinion. The version done in concert in 2009 is Great! I'm looking forward to the upcoming, updated stereo version next month.
