Title: So is Little Red Book.... Post by: A Million Units In Jan! on April 04, 2009, 01:58:40 PM a song done during the SMiLE sessions? A Friends era song? A song for Marilyn? I never understood why people jumped to the conclusion that it was done during SMiLE because in an interview in LLVS Brian talks about doing a song with just himself and a piano the night before. That could have been anything! An interesting thing (that means absolutely nothing) that can be heard on the track is at the beginning you can hear Brian say '180165'. I always wondered what that number referred to.

although, when did mandred mann's version come out? Title: Re: So is Little Red Book.... Post by: Chris Brown on April 04, 2009, 03:06:43 PM I thought I read somewhere that Brian recorded it in February 1967...I may be confusing it with the Jasper Dailey sessions though.
