Title: 23 November 1972, Carnegie Hall - what's the full set list????? Post by: hongkongcrowe on March 24, 2009, 06:16:44 AM We all know that the Carnegie Hall show on 23 November 1972 was recorded for possible inclusion on the In Concert album and over the years, three tracks from that show have been released, namely H & V, Long Promised Road and Wonderbill on the Endless Harmony soundtrack. The show set list that I have lists these tunes:
Darlin' [the best live version that I've heard] Only With You H&V Long Promised Road Don't Worry Baby Student Demonstration Time [this tune is better live than on record....] I Get Around Marcella [very similar to the In Concert version] California Saga [wow - what a great loosy goosy live tune!] Help Me Rhonda [love this version, with a great solo by 'the captain on the keyboards...'] Wonderbill God Only Knows Does anybody know what the rest of the set list from that nite is? I've checked all around the web but I can't seem to track it down. The recording of this show is great except for the lengthy intervals between tunes......would love to hear the whole show, especially to hear any tunes that Blondie may have sung.....this show is another Holy Grail from that great fleeting era! Post by: Thunderfingers75 on March 24, 2009, 12:15:24 PM This seems to be the best of the live boots around (I may be wrong, but its definitely the best one I have). Makes you wonder how many other shows during this era were recorded by the band.

Can anyone track down the setlist for both shows?
I really like the full sound of the band at this time-I just wish they would release everything that was recorded for the 'In Concert' album! |
