Title: A new song of mine up on myspace Post by: matt-zeus on March 01, 2009, 01:00:31 AM Hello there, I have a new song - well I say new but I put it up a while ago (and stuck it in this thread) but now its remixed/rerecorded and sounding better than it did before - it's called 'I'm gonna make you mine Missy' and is probably one of my most blatantly Beach Boys influenced song being an upbeat pop-rocker, i'm going to put it up on a new album in the summer.
Anyway, any feedback would be appreciated! Love hearing you sing out the way you do on the verse--"gonna make YOU MINE." Great backround vocals in those verses, too. Love it.

It is sung in a slightly more projected voice than I normally do, I would sing like that more often but I get quite self-conscious recording with neighbours on all sides hence my usual more hushed vocal delivery. I think on this occasion I didn't really care and thought that they all might be out anyway (as I was skiving off work!) |
