Title: Dave Dee Dies (65) Post by: The Heartical Don on January 09, 2009, 09:06:21 AM I just read that Dave Dee (he of Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich) died of cancer, age 65. I fondly remember those hits from way back when, I heard them on Radio Luxemburg, a famous European AM station in the 60s. R.I.P.
Title: Re: Dave Dee Dies (65) Post by: dogear on January 09, 2009, 10:42:55 AM They often appeared on German TV (Beat Club), I especially remember them for their funny clothes and their first couple of 45s (Hold Tight, Hideaway). They were quite big in Germany 66-68. Dave even cut some solo 45s.
