Title: Mono Mixes Post by: exposedbrain on October 23, 2008, 10:25:08 AM maybe this has been discussed before, but once the Beach Boys started to mix there albums in stereo would brian have a mono mix made for himself. and if so would there be mono mixes even of his recent solo albums? i think it would be interesting to hear an album like BW 88 in mono

Which was a period of six months or so. The studio was dismantled and part of it (the monitors, I seem to recall) used for the Dutch jaunt in early 1972, shortly after SWD left the BB's employ. Like aeijtzsche said, the 'mono fold-down monitor' widget was used for Friends and 20/20. Didn't some stuff get damaged there because of the different circuts? |
