Title: BW on Live At Abbey Road
Post by: Amanda Hart on August 30, 2008, 06:33:29 AM
Just watched this one this morning.  It was a good mini-set from Brian and the band.  He was very relaxed and sounded very good.  They played Going Home, Sloop John B., Southern California and God Only Knows with little interview bits with Jeff and Brian in between about TLOS, being in England and the influence of the Beatles.

This airs on the Sundance Channel, which I don't get so I thought I would miss it, but if you have Time Warner Digital Cable, go to the Free Movies On-Demand channel (it's channel 1170-something) then find the Sundance tab and it's "Abbey Road 12".  I stumbled on it today while I was trying to find the new Big Ten Network   :afro

No but you could hear them playing the beginning of it when Brian and the band are being interviewed right after the show begins.  But yes I was disappointed that he didn't play the whole thing too.

Sorry about the Going Home confusion, that was my fault.  They don't actually perform it, they play the album version during the intro then Scott keeps playing it on the keys between songs.
