Sounds about right, age-wise. And the name is right too.

Susie Cincinnati's a real person? I never heard that before.

Many years ago (1976 or 1977?) I read a short article on the "real" Susie Cincinnatti" in Rolling Stone magazine. Don't have it, though. It was in a library....

You know, I have to chuckle a little bit, because it just shows how big the Beach Boys were back then, that Rolling Stone would devote ink to a story like that! Ah, those were the days...

Some time later, when there was a family problem for "Susie" (husband was hurt, couldn't work), the BB either did a benefit in Cincy or helped financially (can't recall which).

That's sad to hear.  I'm willing to bet that Al doesn't know about this yet.  Here's a picture that I have in my files:

Agree, that's sad news. The song Susie Cincinnati's a great rocker, one I used to play full blast when I was younger and didn't have a partner with sensitive ears! Sorry to hear the inspiration has passed away.

But that photo Eric  -  why is Susie hanging out with the Village People!?!?!  I mean, WHAT is Mike wearing and WHO did his hair? (and who stole his short and left a bath plug in its place?)

Al knows -- Billy Hinsche passed the word along to him.
