Title: New: "You and Your Brother" Post by: the captain on July 02, 2008, 07:28:06 PM I wrote and recorded this song this afternoon. I'm doing a series of tunes of real stories from my childhood (one a day, starting yesterday, for as long as I can keep it up). It's not that it's particularly insightful or anything, but mostly for comedic purposes. This is a serious one, though. "You and Your Brother." Anyway, I finished it today: removed the old vocals and one guitar, added bass, a little electric guitar, a lead vocal, a harmony vocal and a stack-o-vocals in one part, and gave the whole thing a remix. It's posted at http://myspace.com/thebeaumondes. I hope you like it; it's quite meaningful to me--not something I can usually say about songs.
