Title: Marcella...on TV 1972. Post by: John on June 23, 2008, 07:04:37 PM I think I might have mentioned this before - not in a thread though - but according to Badman, The Boys (with Bruce and Ricky, but not Blondie) were televised in the Netherlands in 1972 - once lip-synching to "Marcella" and a few days later actually playing live a small number of songs, including "Surf's Up". So: Has anyone seen these shows? Are they available? Uploadable even?
I think it'd be a cool novelty to see Bruce on Marcella and with Ricky. Title: Re: Marcella...on TV 1972. It's odd that they'd perform Marcella-which wasn't released as a single in Europe till later in the year, but I have no evidence they didn't. I have heard the Grand Gala Du Disque performance-quite nice.

But as for the Grand Gala Dus Disque performance: there are pictures available of this performance. Strange thing is: I don't see Bruce on any them, but Blondie is there!!

There were even pictures made outside the venue with Bruce, but not with Blondie and Ricky. And no, I never saw Marcella on Dutch TV.
