Title: Why Do Fools Fall in Love alternate/live version Post by: donald on May 28, 2008, 05:53:03 AM What is the story on this recording? Sounds live, with what sounds like a black female vocal featured prominently inthe mix, and sounds somewhat like MIU era or thereabouts.
Listening to this this morning along with a lot of other bits and pieces and it is clear that another EH or Hawthorne is possible. Anyone know the history on this recording? I heard in on a certain collection of recordings that have been circulating for some time. I thought some of the regulars here might have heard it. It is surprisingly good.

Really it's one of the first records he did that I don't care for. I know Terry Melcher sings on it, I forgot the women's name. Bruce is on it too.
