I could be wrong but I think Brian is 6'3", Mike is 6', Al is 5'6", Bruce is 5'8", Carl was 5'11" and Dennis was 5'9", can anyone elaborate on this for me, I was just curious?

I remember reading somewhere that Brian was 6 '4

Back in the days of the fan mags, it went:

Brian -- 6'2"
Mike -- 6'1"
Carl -- 5'11"
Dennis -- 5'10"
Bruce -- 5'8"
Al -- 5'4"

David's 6 ft. or taller, but I suspect Carrie can give us the definitive answer. :)

I believe Brian is 6'4". He certainly looks noticeably taller than most people, and if you're 6'2", you really don't. This has been debated before-- I wonder why no one asked Brian on the blueboard.

I know Dennis and Carl were both under 6 feet. I always thought it was interesting that Brian somehow drank more milk and ate more spinach or something! Then again, I'm 8 inches shorter than my sister, so it happens.

I think Brian looks taller because he's pretty broad too, rather than lanky, and I think that sometimes gives an impression of being taller. I also think he's shrunk though since the Sixties.

I met Mike, David and Bruce last month, and according to my wife, Mike seemed about 6'0 / 6'1", Bruce was about 5'8"-ish, and David was maybe 5'10"/5'11", maybe a little taller. To be honest, it wasn't like I was really paying that much attention and I'm not sure how tall I am exactly for comparison's sake, somewhere between 5'11" and 6'1", I guess.

I don't know where I get this crap from but I was led to believe both Bruce and Al are about 5' 5"

Yeah well I've read somewhere that Brian was 6'3", and there's a picture of Mike's passport inside the 15 Big Ones album and it says that he's 6'; I also heard from someone that knew Dennis that he was 5'9"-10", Carl was taller than Dennis but shorter than Mike so that would make him 5'11", I've met Bruce before so 5'8" sounds right and I know Al is the shortest, I thought he was 5'6" but I guess he's shorter.

Yeah, Bruce is definitely taller than 5'5".

I saw Brian singing on stage with about 10 musicians at some benefit or award show or something a year or two ago, and I was shocked to see how biggg he was compared to everybody there.  Of course you have to remember too that he has a huge plume of hair that makes him look taller sometimes :)

I'd say the Beach Boys' height was 1965 to 1973.  :-D

He looked pretty short last time I saw him.  Maybe it's those knees!   ;D

In all the group pictures from 68-72 minus Brian, I thought that Mike was like 6'7 cause the other guys make him look so tall. I guess that's because they are short.

Mike's elevator hats have a lot to answer for.
