Bob Greene was a sideman every summer for Jan & Dean. This book recounts his travels with J & D and the opening acts. He played with them for 15 summers. I just today picked up a copy at Barnes and Noble and have only skimmed it. Looks like an wonderful read, with many stories about the players who played for J & D and the Beach Boys. Highly recommended for Jan & Dean or Beach Boys fans. Bob Greene also has book titled "Be True to Your School" and "Chevrolet Summers and Dairy Queen Nights".
