Title: Monkey's Uncle question for you all Post by: onkster on March 11, 2008, 03:42:42 PM Theoretical question:
If a "Monkey's Uncle" DVD were to come out, how much more likely would you be to buy it if it contained, as a bonus feature, a music-video version of the main title song sequence? (Basically, the main title performance without all the text, credits, etc.) Thanks for your opinions! I love the part where the chick (can't think of her name) puts her hands over Denny's eyes while he's drumming.

Either way, I'd buy the Monkey's Uncle. Title: Re: Monkey's Uncle question for you all Post by: LeeDempsey on March 11, 2008, 06:32:22 PM I would also use Annette's stereo album mix for the bonus video (with its thick, fat reverb), instead of the mono mix used on the movie soundtrack.
Lee Title: Re: Monkey's Uncle question for you all Post by: onkster on March 12, 2008, 09:04:39 AM Does the stereo mix include Annette's extra lines at the end "I love the Monkey's Uncle, yeah, yeah"? I recall the Disney Classic mix as just having the BB's at the end.
You can see her sing those lines in the film, so it might have to be the mono mix if that is the case. |
