Title: Beach Boys cover songs: which songs, and who? Post by: carl r on February 21, 2008, 01:03:54 AM Whilst lots of bands have covered the Beach Boys, it's generally always the same songs. I was thinking of some slightly less well-known songs, and who could do good versions, and so far:
Slade (classic lineup): Do It Again - I think this could be great with the trademark screechy vocal, and maybe a bigger hit than the original! Morrissey - Still I Dream Of It Billy Bragg- The Trader Peter, Björn and John - Honkin' Down the Highway and if they were more "honest" people, Coldplay could cover "Surf's Up" - but they would probably be scared off by the sudden realisation of their own mediocrity :) Title: Re: Beach Boys cover songs: which songs, and who?
