Title: ML, BJ, DM salute Nascar
Post by: mikeyj on February 18, 2008, 06:57:58 AM
I don't own this album but have seen the back cover and it credits Mike Love with co-writing "Don't Worry Baby".. what is the deal there? Did he add an extra verse like he has done on several other occassions? (eg: Under The Boardwalk, Fun Fun Fun) or re-write the lyrics? (eg: A Young Man Is Gone, Student Demonstration Time) Or what? Any info greatly appreciated.

Interesting.  I wonder if he benefited financially from this credit or if it was just a misprint.

I believe Mike was awarded co-writer credit to that song as part of his lawsuit in the early 90s.

Not according to people like AGD or any of the re-issues after the lawsuit (as far as I know).. Even on Stars & Stripes it only credits it as "Brian Wilson/Roger Christian".
