I'm sticking my neck into the guillotine here, but I gave this album a 4. It's a great, rockin' half hour of surfin' tunes. Almost as good as Surfin' USA (the album).

My head already got chopped. 5.
Best solo album by a BB ever, besides BWPS.

I heard it when it came out. Loved it since then.
I'm just more of a primal rock man.

It's a lighthearted album. Sounds dated but it's not necessarily a bad thing. The amount of instrumentals might turn some people off but I'm fine with it. Not for a causal listener though. Maksha At Midnight is the best track on the album.

2/5..  Well this is better than Pajama party at least so Bruce is makin headway.. I think his best stuff is things he did with Ripchords and Bruce + Terry.. There is more effort in those recordings than this stuff... If ya want instrumental surf music go find The Challengers or The Surfaris or Ventures  + Dick Dale.. Or all those 1 hit wonders heck go find Duane Eddy or Sandy Nelson..   :banana

6. Jersey Channel Islands - Part 7 - 4/5
7. The Hamptons - 5/5
8. Virginia Beach - 3/5

Awesome rockin' record!! I sometimes wonder if the real Bruce died sometime in the late 60s and was replaced by a clone?
Overall 4/5.
