Pretty logic, as he died in his Maharishi TM centre in Vlodrop, the Netherlands. Several newschannels have an item on his passing. Both Beatles and Beach Boys were mentioned as followers in the 60-ies btw.

So there's sadness, but it was also said that the time was right (and as was literally told "cosmically" or something similar). A spokesman was on the radio telling this this morning, and he also mentioned that his successor is already known. He will be buried in India later this week. I've NEVER heard that version before, always the inappropriate behavior of MMY toward a female student.
