Title: The Beach Boys & Pendleton Plaid Post by: DJ M on December 24, 2007, 09:04:05 AM http://www.statesmanjournal.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071224/COLUMN0807/712240301/1064
"It's amazing a lot of people don't know that the Beach Boys did wear Pendleton shirts," said Debbie Coryell of the Pendleton Woolen Mills corporate office in Portland. "Anybody in their 50s or early 60s would recognize that, but the story needs to be told to new generations." With a little care ( and moth repellent) they will last generations. And yes, the Beach Boys plaid is indeed the same color and pattern that the boys once favored . A bargain at $90.00, and stylish. Then I found out how expensive it was. I'm sorry, I'm a super Beach Boys fanatic, and I make tons of unwise financial decisions, but I can't see myself paying that much money for a shirt. I'd rather spend that money on four Adrian Baker CDs, and I don't even like Adrian Baker! |
