Just thought I'd point you all in the direction of the Pacific Ocean Blue and CATP Pet Sounds needledrops I posted links to over at the Record Room. The POB turned out far better than I expected. Almost as good, better in some places, than the Steve Hoffman DCC Pet Sounds disc from 1993.
I'm going to listen to Pacific Ocean Blue. I'm sure it sounds fantastic. I got the POB needledrop.. (I already have POB on vinyl but just wanted to see what this one sounded like).. and there is something wrong with the sound. I don't know what you would call it, but it's like when a video tape is jumping and the noise sounds warped.. thats what this sounds like at times.
