Raymond Scott started out as a bandleader during the swing era in the 30s, playing very rigidly structured tunes that later found their way into Warner Bros. cartoons in the 40s. He's most known, however, for his experiments in electronic (Manhattan Research, Inc.) and ambient musics (Soothing Sounds For Baby series). Have at it for this genius. There is, however, a two-disc set of live performances and radio rehearsals available.
