Title: Time Magazine photo May 21 1965 Post by: Ian on September 17, 2007, 03:06:26 PM The "rock" issue of Time Magazine that came out on May 21 1965 has a photo montage on the cover- the Beach Boys photo by Julian Wasser has the BBs with Brian wearing the yellow shirts and white pants-with Brian's hair combed down. So this famous photo must date from May 1965 or earlier- doesn't end the mystery of those photos, but does narrow down the date. In a conversation I had with Mr Wasser he stated that the pics of the group with Brian in gold lame suits (seen in a double page spread in Milward's Silver Anniversary book) were also taken for that Time issue and that he took them at capitol records. If so they date from Apr-May? 65.
