In particular, I'm thinking of particular types of funda"mentalist" Christians. Does anyone know why this is? Was it really the goats on the sleeve of Pet Sounds? Why the Beach Boys, and not... the Mamas and Papas, or Mungo Jerry? Its a bit of a mystery to me! Any ideas ? Does being on GW Bush's iPod qualify for satanic connections ? To widen it a bit... other people I know complain about the harmonies and falsettos - somebody I know said it sounds as if something is being squeezed. I'm interested in what people who don't like the BB say about why not. I have a feeling that they don't like 'em 'cos they don't know 'em, but... Title: Re: Enemies of the Beach Boys... Most actually say the Beatles are the bad boys. I would say in reality it is more the opposite. I'm a Christian, and disagree with a lot of things that they do, but that doesn't change the fact that there music is great.
