This isn't something i'm too optimistic about getting a result on, but hey if you never ask.. In the BW documentary 'A Beach Boys' Tale' there is a shot of footage of BW, sporting a long beard and looking particuarly unwell, sat at a piano facing a mirror - the tune he's playing on the piano is absolutely gorgeous!! Is this avaliable from anywhere does anyone know, was it ever recorded or is it availiable on bootleg at all? Have been sat watching the doc all night long on YouTube, rather than doing my job, and that tune really struck me. I'm sure it was maybe just something he sat and knocked out and then forgot about, but if it were availiable i'd love to know. Would be nice to hear it without a voiceover on top.

It's on You Tube, BW Bio pt. 8, about 1 minute in. Yeh, he looks very rough looking. His eyes look like he's been crying lemon juice for a week.

And while i'm searching for impossible to track down music, has anyone ever actually heard Carl's 'Telephone Backgrounds..'? I love to know if it's actually availiable?

OK listened to it, it has a generic feel to it, sounds like archtypical Brian chords. I do know that the clip is an outtake from a 1980 20/20 profile.

If it's a song, it could be one of dozens. Sounds like a I-IV over and over.
