That doesn't actually live up to its bad reputation. Quite a fun listen, actually. Mike fumbles it a little bit, but it's certainly not as godawful as most people have said! Of course there is heaps of unreleased stuff out there that is better than this song, and I think most people acknowledge that. The ensuing conversation, as reported to me, went like this:
ACJ - "Are you sure ?" "Yeah, why not ?" "Have you actually listened to it ?" "Um... no - why ?" "(30-odd seconds of silence) Weeelllll....." The tape was duly auditioned... and dropped from consideration. |
