Title: BB Britain message board Post by: Emdeeh on June 03, 2007, 07:29:19 PM Is anyone besides me having problems connecting to the Beach Boys Britain message board? I lost connection to them on Wednesday night and haven't been able to get it back since. :'( This applies only to my home ISP (Charter). I've tried connecting with six different browsers using two different computers. I also checked my router to make sure nothing was blocked.
When I checked the BBB board using a machine on another network, everything was fine. So I think it's a network problem of some nature. I contacted my ISP's tech support and they tried to contact b5.boards2go.com and got nada, just like I did. But they didn't offer any solutions, either. I got a tip today from a network tech I know (not with Charter, btw) that my ISP might be having problems resolving the domain name (b5.boards2go.com). He helped me find the IP number of the board, and I can connect with it using the numerical ID. Phew!
