Title: "Good evening, Mr Wilson" Post by: mikeyj on May 31, 2007, 03:34:46 AM I was reading (in "Back To The Beach") and I have read it elsewhere too about how Brian saw that movie that said "Good evening Mr Wilson" (cant remember the name of the movie though) and Brian thought it was done by Spector to scare him or something. has anyone actually seen this movie? Did it resemble Brians life (like he also claimed) at all?

Thanks Andrew... exactly what I thought... I think Brian was just becoming so paranoid (from what Ive heard and read) that he started turning everything into negativity. Title: Re: \ Post by: Andrew G. Doe on May 31, 2007, 04:07:23 AM Excellent film, though. Worth seeing.
Title: Re: Post by: mikeyj on May 31, 2007, 05:15:29 AM Excellent film, though. Worth seeing. It wouldnt be very easy to get a hold of though would it? I mean id watch it if I was able to, but its not even a very famous movie is it? (ive certaintly not heard of it but then Im not really very knowledgable about many movies) Title: Re: \ Post by: Andrew G. Doe on May 31, 2007, 05:29:53 AM It's on amazon.com for $13. Not sure it's worth that just for the slight BW connection, but as an interesting movie, probably.

Yeh well I wouldnt buy it JUST for the BW connection, but you said that it was an excellent film so I was just interested in seeing it. On another note, I wonder if the Monkey's Uncle, The Girls On The Beach etc.. will ever be released on DVD (if not already) and what other movies have the boys (atleast one of them) made guest appearances?? I remember reading somewhere that Brian appeared in a movie by himself back in the 60's.. dont know if its true though Title: Re: \ Post by: Smilin Ed H on May 31, 2007, 11:15:40 AM Frankenheimer was a good director - or he was at the time at least. He was responsible for a fair bit of crap later on (Island of Dr Moreau, anyone?) until he kind of redeemed himself with Ronin.

Title: Re: \ Post by: MBE on May 31, 2007, 06:37:57 PM Brian is supposedly an extra in Beach Party but I couldn't find him.
