Title: Treatment of Brian
Post by: ♩♬🐸 Billy C ♯♫♩🐇 on January 12, 2007, 09:44:01 PM
Do Brian's "handlers" always walk him around like he was a child?!  >:( Look at when he gets out of the car.

crap...posted before I was through typing.

Anyway, something rubbed me the wrong way. Just the whole "let's drag him out of the car, and yank him towards the direction he's supposed to go" thing. Is this a common occurence? That thumb in the back looked like it hurt, too.

Depends on the day. Sometimes he needs... direction. Other times he's a regular 64-year-old.

Maybe, maybe not, but it looked a bit uncaring. Okay scratch that...a whole lot of uncaring is more like it.If Brian's having one of his "off days", they should let him be. Sometimes I truly hate his "people". Complete lack of respect, no different than the Beach Boys in the mid to late 70s or Landy and his goons in the 80s.

What if his "off days" on which you want him to be left alone fall on days of appearances and concerts? After all, it isn't as if a person can tell months in advance on which days illness recurs. Should he cancel everything? And, considering those very appearances quite possibly bring on "off days," wouldn't that mean we'd never see Brian out again (or at least not often)?

As has often been said by those who have spent time around him, Brian often needs a kick in the ass to do much of anything. Now, if he really doesn't want to do anything anymore, fine by me--I've got his great albums. But if you don't agree, be careful what you wish for.

Umm, to me it just looks like they were trying to escort him in without being harassed by all those nutty fans.

I didnt see any dragging...though his facial expression did seem a bit out of it...doubt that had anything to do with the escort though.

I think he's reaching that point, or close to it. That's probably why he's been cutting back his schedule. Which is the best thing for him *if* that is what he wants.

I'm not going to lie...selfishly, I would like to see him continue on with concerts, as I'd like to attend another show. I want another album, too. However, if that's not what he wants to do, then he shouldn't be forced to.
