Ahmet was also important to rock. He signed Led Zepplin after hearing their demo and convinced CSN to bring Neil Young into the band. The brothers also helped bring soccer to North America co-founding the N.Y. Cosmos.
Ahmet was renowned for caring about the musicians he worked with as people first and he maintained many of the personal relationships he had with artists even after they left his label.
