Title: Brian at UK Rock and Roll hall of fame last night Post by: matt-zeus on November 17, 2006, 08:26:38 AM Just wondered if anyone saw this last night, Brian looked okay, hit the high notes in the verse of 'Good Vibrations' (doubled with someone), and had a good reception. Also inducted were Led Zeppelin, with Jimmy Page looking astonishingly like Tinker off 'Lovejoy' these days! (UK reference)

Not only saw it, I was there for the taping, down in the (decidedly posh) mosh pit. So close to the stage you could catch James Brown's sweat, and if you turned around, behind you, about 20 feet away, was the celeb front row - 'Tinker' Page, David Gilmore, Sir George, Bon Jovi and Brian with Melinda & Daria. The atmosphere was superb, and Brian's reception was one of the best. Compared with his zombified performance at the 2002 Golden Jubilee gig, this was orders of magnitude better. An excellent evening out. And the red tix were free !
