Title: Brian and The Beach Boys. Their Last Song
Post by: Pretty Funky on August 30, 2025, 11:59:23 PM
Send to the YouTube thread if needed, but I think this one slipped under the radar. Don’t know if the person who filmed it realised how historical this would be. Shame it is so short.

Wow! You actually can't hear that much but sometimes the blend comes through.

Oh man. I really wish this had been filmed properly. Still, very cool!

I can see why they didn't use it on the documentary -- you can't hear a thing over the crashing waves!

But if it had been recorded in a way that the sounds of the waves weren't so prominent it would have been great!

And... maybe you could bring Peter Jackson in to delete the sounds of the waves!

Honestly, for me, one of the things that makes it so special is precisely the fact that it wasn't for the cameras.

Thought the same. Over 60 years earlier they did it spontaneously at family gatherings. To do it again just because they felt like it was just so cool.
