When possible I have a pic from the show or at least from that year....which was a long and interesting one....kind of a calm year after the stormy 1977-1978 period...though there was still residual tension occasionally. You can of course view the other gigs from 1961-1978. There is also-from the main menu-an additions blog-where I list shows not in the original book or errors I have discovered-that is done up to 1974.

I think we'll all be interested in the materials you assemble for 1980, which I recall as being a pretty dismal time--the aimlessness of KEEPIN' THE SUMMER ALIVE sticking out like a sore thumb in a period of decline that eventually spurred Carl to pursue a solo career. |
