Title: Beach Boys Christmas Album just turned 60 and there's a new video to celebrate! Post by: Summertime Blooz on November 26, 2024, 02:27:45 PM That's right! We've been celebrating the Christmas Holidays with 'The Beach Boys Christmas Album' on our turntables, tape decks, and CD players for 60 years now. To mark this momentous occasion, I decided that I should make a new video for one of the album's wonderful original songs 'Merry Christmas, Baby'. I made a few additions and changes to the mix, so I hope you'll check out the video as the Holiday Season gets rolling, and let me know what you thought. Happy Holidays, all!

I don't normally do it for my videos, to make a change like this, but for the part of the chorus without any vocals, I added a glockenspiel melody line to make it feel more complete. I also added the hand claps that were used just in the beginning of the record throughout the entire track. Sacrilege, I know, to change the work of the master, but I really like the result of what I did. |
