Title: Is this 1966 Pet Sounds Concert Poster Legit? Post by: Dan Lega on May 09, 2024, 12:53:18 PM I just saw this for sale online. Is this a real concert poster from 1966? Or is it something that was fashioned much later?

It's for sale on sites like Instaprints and Etsy, and an artist named Gary Grayson is credited.

Post by: guitarfool2002 on May 09, 2024, 01:20:33 PM Just a little bit of history too, that same night "The Big 610" was hosting The Beach Boys package show, Frank Zappa and The Mothers played a gig at the Fillmore with Lenny Bruce! 1966 was a great year for music...
And The Sunrays and Neil Diamond also played with the BB's but were not included on the posters: https://www.sahmigo.com/concerts/ds_concerts/1966/1966-06-24_san_francisco.html (https://www.sahmigo.com/concerts/ds_concerts/1966/1966-06-24_san_francisco.html) (https://www.sahmigo.com/images/0year/1966/1966-06-24_programm_1.jpg) |
