Title: Beach Boys Art and Portraits - Generated By AI Algorithms Post by: guitarfool2002 on October 12, 2022, 08:38:30 AM I saw a demo of this AI program which automatically generates images from text, with results that range from close to hilariously off the mark, but sometimes the "art" generated by the artificial intelligence can be pretty compelling too. And of course I had to input various Beach Boys related texts to see what art this program created. Here are some of the results:
Brian Wilson: (https://i.imgur.com/0gEleJA.jpg) Carl Wilson: (https://i.imgur.com/G81zpLO.jpg) Dennis Wilson: (https://i.imgur.com/8zhCkE2.jpg) Mike Love: (https://i.imgur.com/dDdRgqP.jpg) Al Jardine: (https://i.imgur.com/syFGOHu.jpg) David Marks: (https://i.imgur.com/i4tafkK.jpg) Bruce Johnston: (https://i.imgur.com/CecnUMW.jpg) Blondie Chaplin: (https://i.imgur.com/sQxRZgE.jpg) "The Beach Boys Band": (https://i.imgur.com/JHog3I5.jpg) "The Beach Boys On Stage": (https://i.imgur.com/dBwJw8T.jpg) "Pet Sounds Album": (https://i.imgur.com/eb3dh5U.jpg) And finally, an AI generated image that I actually found very compelling and which I'd consider getting framed as legitimate visual art..."Brian Wilson Pet Sounds": (https://i.imgur.com/q0OWDBH.jpg) Title: Re: Beach Boys Art and Portraits - Generated By AI Algorithms Post by: Jay on October 13, 2022, 01:20:20 PM Here's one of mine: https://creator.nightcafe.studio/creation/PNz73z0S7RPGj6OsS2i8
Edit: I don't know how to post pictures here, so I posted a link from the website. If somebody could post the pic here that would be appreciated. Title: Re: Beach Boys Art and Portraits - Generated By AI Algorithms Post by: bossaroo on October 13, 2022, 01:54:08 PM super creepy. good work fellas

I'm guessing mainly the latter because "Blondie Chaplin," the one with the most one-of-a-kind name seems to have generated the most true-to-life face).
A few comments about these "guys"... Brian... this does sort of resemble how he looked c. 1994-96 in the Don Was era. Carl... sort of fun-house mirror Carl. Denny.... sort of looks like '70s Denny was auditioning for a werewolf flick. Mike ... not even close (except for the cap & shirt) but the alt-universe ML has a kindlier face Al... hmmm, almost as if he were the third Carpenter sibling Dave... not even close. Bruce.... as a lost cast member of The Lawrence Welk Show. Blondie... this is pretty close, looks like amalgamation of current-ish face with hair from an earlier era Title: Re: Beach Boys Art and Portraits - Generated By AI Algorithms Post by: Sam_BFC on October 14, 2022, 11:23:38 AM The David Marks looks more like Pete Townsend

The Pet Seaid Seaür Baid: Ptamic album looks like it would sound AWESOME. Title: Re: Beach Boys Art and Portraits - Generated By AI Algorithms Post by: Awesoman on October 18, 2022, 05:15:33 AM Yikes. I'm going to have nightmares of those things coming at me in my sleep. If one ever needed evidence over the potential dangers of artificial intelligence, I cannot think of anything as horrifying as this.
