Title: The very end of Long Promised Road documentary Post by: PickupExcitations on February 15, 2022, 07:47:46 AM The ending of the documentary shows a baby trying to sing “Barbara Ann”, so who is he/she (in my opinion it’s a boy, but I’m not quite sure)? And is the lady his mother? Why did they appeared in this, I don’t know, kind of “outtake” thing in the end?
Title: Re: The very end of Long Promised Road documentary Post by: leoleoleoleo on February 15, 2022, 08:50:15 AM I wondered this myself, the conclusion I came to (this is entirely conjecture) is that it’s the child of someone who worked on the film and it was included (a) because it’s precious and (b) to make the point of how BW’s music is loved by all ages / is being passed down from generation to generation. So it’s a shame then that the song in question isn’t a BW composition – but then again, neither is the film’s title!
