Title: 1971: The Year That Music Changed Everything Post by: Rocker on May 29, 2021, 09:12:29 AM George Harrison, Marvin Gaye, the Who Appear in ‘1971’ Docuseries Trailer
Eight-part series 1971: The Year That Music Changed Everything arrives later this month https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/george-harrison-marvin-gaye-the-who-1971-docuseries-trailer-1167623/?fbclid=IwAR12q1qjcJr28jboifepaCKV1O2QCiZ9c3z6v2lvFDxQHkud0DAdYgiqNYU Seretly I had hoped that the Beach Boys would be featured in some way (especiall considering "Feel Flows" will be released). But not surprisingly they weren't, as they certainly didn't have the same impact as they did in the 60s. The only things related that I caught were the Capitol Tower and Manson. They never received the commercial success they got before. So much good music, and I also think the BB's inspired songwriters behind the scenes... So I am at least happy about that.
