Listening to "Science Friction" right now--nice! I'll link the EP around the place. Hoping you, your family and Jay are doing OK out there. Title: Re: New Website (and band member) Post by: ♩♬🐸 Billy C ♯♫♩🐇 on May 06, 2020, 04:27:07 PM Thank you very much!!! 😎

Being able to with my wife, my best friend, and my daughter is a blessing! Especially the kiddo... started off with me teaching Jaymie how to mix, and how it works as far as producing. She’s close to surpassing me if she hasn’t already! And she’s not yet 13 ! So I want this to be successful but more so for her, as I know she will eventually do her own thing.
She started writing after we saw Brian live in 2017. When I had my most recent stroke for a long time I couldn’t write anymore, or at least finish anything. She ended up helping me get back to where I was . I couldn’t have done it without her. And she’s so young! Needless to say, I’m very proud Here’s an example of her writing (I did the bridge) http://fear2stop.bandcamp.com/track/mean-girls-2020-remaster Title: Re: New Website (and band member) Post by: DeanEntwistle on May 08, 2020, 10:46:33 AM Thanks Dean...that means a lot. Wow, that song is a cool-cool track, I love the whole synthy-vibe coming from this track and the percussion adds a way cooler flavor to it.She started writing after we saw Brian live in 2017. Title: Re: New Website (and band member) Post by: ♩♬🐸 Billy C ♯♫♩🐇 on May 08, 2020, 03:27:27 PM That means a lot to me. We’ve been doing this since 2001 (back when it was myself, my wife, and our friend Raymond) and (I’m dead serious) have recorded around 1000 songs (not a typo) over the years. We started to have some success but then Dana and I had Jaymie, and then Raymond’s wife passed, then my strokes... so we’re just now at the point of going full throttle again. We don’t have any qualms about being successful in the commercial sense but that means little right now (although if we get a few buys I certainly won’t complain). Jaymie said she’s mostly interested in “making works of art “.
Works for me Title: Re: New Website (and band member) Post by: ♩♬🐸 Billy C ♯♫♩🐇 on May 08, 2020, 05:32:55 PM Uploaded a new compilation of stuff from our early years when our sound was quite different. Definitely less polished and less produced.

This is a great example of where our sound is going towards. Even though the album is more of suite type of deal, this works as a good stand-alone.
FYI the crackling sound is intentional as we were going for the distorted organ sound from Country Air on Wild Honey http://fear2stop.bandcamp.com/track/area-420 Title: Re: New Website (and band member) Post by: ♩♬🐸 Billy C ♯♫♩🐇 on May 15, 2020, 01:35:03 PM That means a lot to me.
