Title: Streetlight Harmonies
Post by: thetojo on April 18, 2020, 02:19:52 PM
Anyone else notice that Brian and Al pop up in this Brent Wilson directed doco?

I think it's been around for a little while but released to digital about 3 weeks ago.

Also on bluray, DVD etc.

Watched it tonight -- it's a good doc, imho. Not a lot of Brian and Al, but they fall into the category of musicians influenced by doo-wop and appear later in the show.

I figured that they wouldn't be a significant part of the movie, but just that people might like to know they were in it.

I thought it would be a very good and interesting documentary in any event. My wife and I had recently really enjoyed the Echo from the Canyon doco, and I thought this might be of similar quality.

I like it better than Echo in the Canyon, because it's more focused on the people who made the music originally.
