Title: Wake the World (The Friends Sessions) & I Can Hear Music (The 20-20 Sessions)
Post by: Rotat on December 13, 2018, 01:15:40 AM
Wow just heard about these collections being released. Really interesting stuff, being a huge BBs fan, its nice to hear new versions of these songs and bonus tracks! Some of this stuff makes me wonder a lot - Whats with "The Gong"? "When A Man Needs A Woman" had extra Brian vocals in the 2nd verse. The original "Transcendental Meditation" sounds a lot better. A more sophisticated produced version of "Be Here In The Morning"? Why all these were omitted or edited out is anyones guess..

Still a ton more stuff I have to get through but I didn't see a thread about these yet..

It might be a bit hard to find as the thread title doesn't specify the name of the release, but "1968 Copyright Extension Release Thread" works as the place for discuss these releases:

Is it just me, or is the new IIGS on a loop, with the same part playing two or three times, as apposed to just one continuous piece?
